Blaire Dessent

Blaire Dessent is a freelance cultural writer and exhibition project manager with a background in contemporary art and design. She received a Master’s in Art History from Pratt Institute in 1999 and worked for over ten years in the New York art world as director of Friedrich Petzel Gallery, Program Manager at the Bohen Foundation and Director of Art Omi International Arts Center, and in Paris at Galerie Triode. She writes frequently for artists and galleries, and is a contributor to various publications including T&L Magazine, Artsy, Trend Tablet, Whitehot Magazine, and Art Observed.  Her current layover is Paris.
